Metoffice update for next week (Rosthwaite / Borrowdale) – Day 2 destination.
Also from the lakedistrictweatherline a bit more specific detail
Outlook for next few days
Sunday
A mixture of cloudy periods, but some bright and sunny spells too, these most likely in the morning. A risk of some showery rain later in the day. Winds strengthening becoming a strong to gale force southeasterly. Freezing levels above the summits.
Monday
Winds lighter than Sunday, but otherwise fairly similar, with mostly dry conditions with some bright spells, but a risk of some showery rain at times too. Freezing levels above the summits.
Tuesday
Low pressure over Ireland will push weak fronts eastwards, so some outbreaks of rain possible, but generally dry with moderate southerly winds, and feeling warm in any sunshine.

What a wonderful trip! Thank you so much for sharing your pictures and your thoughts. Congratulations, you did what I can only dream of. Kally Ritchie Brana
